Wanted to share a motivating video on overcoming adversity. Been on the road, including the incredible Santa Fe, New Mexico, so I’m doing a little catch up.
Overcoming Adversity

Last year I was asked by Dr. Debbora Whitson, a professor at the University of California, Riverside, to video a lecture on Overcoming Adversity for her Business Development, BUS 156 class. Debbora heard me interviewed by Bill Handel of KFI Los Angeles and thought it would be a motivator to her class.
I’ve incredibly happy how it turned out thanks to my good friend, videographer Bob Fish. We did it all in one take, so you are seeing me warts and all! Thankfully, it’s an incredibly powerful message that according to Professor Whitson, “left many in the class with wet eyes, and everyone motivated.”
Adversity is an opportunity to reflect and focus our life on the things that matter most to us. Instead of running from adversity, face the challenge and taking the risk will lead you to priceless treasure. Overcoming adversity makes us stronger and better able to live.
